Elvis had taken over my life for a year. It was last December 2012, sitting in my music library was one album called "Good Times". I was somewhat familiar with it - but not obsessed, like today.
It's a healthy obsession. Music is healthy and in the case of Elvis, hearing his music (especially wafter his movie run was over in 1970) has been an experience like no other and that includes Brian Wilson and The Beach Boys.
Maybe it had a lot to do with the gospel Lp's that Elvis recorded. Actually, it has everything to do with Elvis and his vocals, his band, his background singers and his love of The Lord Jesus.
So 2014 is on it's way and so far I've collected (in a year), over 900 songs and alternate versions of Elvis' music. It's Still Here.....
